She has 15 posts from last night alone with the same info. looking for her birthdaughter. She seems to be just hitting all the search forums as she doesn't know what state her daughter went to, but at what point is it considered excessive and spamming? Or is it ok?

It seems to me in similar cases we have "merged" the threads into one... in this case under search and reunion, I would think. (But what do I know, LOL)

She can have 2..that's it.
Same threads in various forums is considered spamming of sorts and is not necessary.
Leave 2 in the most "popular" forums and delete the rest. Pm and let her know that it's not necessary to hit all the forums and people tend to read the forums we left them in the most.

Sorry...I thought you meant threads when you clearly said "posts". *note to self...have coffee before reading*.;)
Just leave what she has but do pm her and tell her that she has hit the biggest forums and if she posts again, she should just bump up a FEW of the threads started at a later date. In other words, she doesn't need new threads.
