Adopting waiting children?

Has anyone adopted off of the list of kids just waiting for homes? I just called to get signed up to do our classes but we can't start until January. There is a sibling group I'd take right now however we don't have room for them here, we are moving in April. I hope they are still available when we are done, if not I know they were not meant for us but I know there will be other kids who are. Any success stories. Don't tell me the horrible things, I know how it can be. I used to work in a group home. I want to hear posotive stories.
