ISO California Birthmom 11/12/54

Hello, I'm in search of California birthmom. Have quite a bit of info. Helping a friend who is the adoptee. Adoptee born 11/12/54 in San Francisco, CA. Her name was Maura Constance. Born at 4:55 a.m. Hospital name unknown. We're not sure if Constance is a middle name or a last name. Roman Catholic background. Adopted out when 4 years old. Was with Birthmom until then. Adoption handled through Catholic Social Service. Birth Certificate number is 54-302152. There are two baptismal records, one appears to be prior to the adoption with the adoptive name written in later. The first record is from the Church of the Good Shepherd in Pacifica, California on 6/16/57. Adoptee would be 2 1/2 years old. Adoption appears to have taken place on 1/24/59. The second baptismal record was with adoptive parents. Both were Roman Catholic. Not sure why baptized twice. We are going to send away for non-identifying information and try to request original baptismal record, as well as put a request on file with the state. Does anyone have any other recommendations? I checked the vitalsearch-ca records and ameridex and no maura's come up on that date. The adoptive name comes up on the date -- Kathleen Ann Kerney, on 11/12/54, but that is her adoptive name, not her birth name.
