Hello, I am new to being a foster mother and I could not wait to get the call, well I got the call today and I had to say no and I am feeling so bad. They had a sister 5 and brother 4 but they had to go to bio mother visit once a week and it would have been a 4 hr drive round trip every week and also the little boy had autism and they did not know how bad. I am so scared that becasue I said no now they won't call me.:hissy: I am so glad that I found this fourm I am sure all your experence will come in handy.

Dont worry they will call you again... and again... and again... DO not say yes until you know its what you want!! I have said no to lots and lots of kids because it wasnt something I felt capable of dealing with. Now I have 4 toddlers!! I could have 2 more if I would agree to it!!! So dont worry they will call again!!
