Social Security & Subsidy at the same time???

Since I see some 'newer' posts on my old thread, I figured I give the heads up on where we stand, in case anyone else ends up dealing with this. Noting that the SSI that dd recieves is due to her birth fathers death. AND we negotiated her subsidy under the impression we were not eligible for this (that is what the county told us, I asked SEVERAL times) We are now required to reduce our adoption subsidy invoice each month by the amount that we recieve from SSI. So in the end I have spent many, many hours in appointments and paperwork, we get exactly the same amount as we did before.
