Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that has children's books that you can download and read right on your computer...
My son's school has the accellerated readers program, and there's certain books he has to choose from...Not all of them are in our school/city library, and we can't afford to be buying 5 new books a week...
Any suggestions?

bookswap.com is a great place. You can either buy credits good toward books (even kids books and homeschool books), or you can earn credits by listing your books that you no longer need or have read already. Go check it out. They have tons of books.;)

If you'll pm me a list - I'll check and see if I have any of them. We have a ton of books around here and certainly don't need them all!!:)

Darn...I was really hoping to get rid of some books! LOL!

Deb - Send him on down. I'll have dd teach him the shoe thing and a whole bunch of things. By the time we are done he'll be BEGGING to "just read a book". LOL!

Hey crick, go post them on bookswap.com Then you can browse the books they have, or look for a specific book. As soon as you list them, and send one out, you get a credit to pick a book and have someone send it to you. :)
