Searching for a cemetary searcher?

I was wondering if anybody new how to look for a cemetary or in my case a headstone. I know Carole Boling died in Manhattan Beach, California. Im hoping she was buried there. First, I dont know how to find where she was buried since I can't find her Obit, I can only find her SS death index. Second, there could be a chance that she could have been cremated, and if so, how do I find that out?
