I dont know if it is possible or not, but my adopted little girl is VERY sick and I KNOW for a fact she has A LOT of siblings that were also put up for adoption. I think there were 15 kids total from 1 set of parents. The problem is that she is 8 and all her birth sibs are most likely under 18. Their birthdates start from around 1990 through 2004 when the last child was born. Is there a place for adoptive parents to register to search for minor children siblings on an EMERGENCY medical basis. Thanks for ANY help anyone can give me. I am DESPERATE to help my little girl, and I know someone who has her siblings may be dealing with the same issues. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

I personally don't know of any. Are there any social workers who might be familiar with the kids that you could ask? Any attornies that handled the adoptions? My son has many birth siblings, but we were never in contact with them during his hospitalizations (many, many) and his open heart surgeries (4). Sorry your child is so ill. Believe me when I say I know what that is like.

You can petition the courts to open your daughters file. That will give you some information and a starting place. The court may also provide direction in that regards. You need to petition the court in the county the adoption was final in. You can do the petition yourself (in Washington it was a one page form of questions and a space to write the reason) and it may help to have a note from the doctor. You should also contact the agency, lawyer or state office the adoption was handled by. Kind regards,Dickons
