And I am sick.......... I have strep(sp) throat and last night I couldn't help but worry about my little bunchin' noone but me (and the daycare provider) knows how she likes her bottle (she is only seven months old) and her fruit. How do you other single parents cope? I have been beside myself with worry. I do have friends but not much of a support system when it comes to Fran(baby). I know I need to work on it but boy.....sometimes it gets lonesome to be a single parent. How does everyone else cope?:hissy:
Take it minute by minute when you are sick. Some days all you can do is the minimum and your baby will be okay. If you have anyone who can help, now is the time to ask. Most of us who are single mothers hate to ask for help and are fiercely independent, but sometimes you have to ask. And you will be surprised at how much some people want to help. Just think, you would be happy to help someone if you could, right? But be explicit about what you need.
Good luck!

I joined Meetup.com and found a single parent group in my area. Now I have people I actually call my friends (I don't use that term lightly) and I know if I really needed something several of them would be there for me. I lucked out because one is even a doctor :)
I have no family in the area and before I joined meetup I didn't know ANYONE here for 6 months. My son is a little older so when I've been really sick (only 1 or 2 times, but I also get migraines) he becomes a total saint and helps out.
Thanks guys!!! I know my emotions are all over the place right now. I am not usually this emotional its just that she is the most precious thing to me. I just need to take it moment by moment.....:hissy:
