It dawned on me three years later that the initials "LB" may not be yours - I was just using a nickname that your parents had referred to in a letter to me.
(I felt like I had to clear that up)

I sent a letter in late May - haven't heard anything yet. I know I'm just a stranger to him, but I hope someday he wants to talk to me. A "Well, I don't want contact now, but maybe in the future?" response would be better than nothing.
Waiting is so hard. Good luck for all those trying to connect.
