Are there any search angels out there? :wings
I'm searching for anyone in my birthfamily...
The info that I do have is as follows:
My Social worker was Mrs. Boyle
Born: 02/09/1976
Gender: Female
Location: Georgia
Hospital: Crawford Long
Birthmother: 18 at the time of my birth - she had graduated HS & had planned on attending college.
From what I understand, she lived in Cobb County she had an adopted brother -who was 12 at the time of my birth - & she was Catholic
It was requested that I be placed with a Catholic Family.
Birthfather: 20 at the time of my birth - he had graduated HS and was already attending college and he worked as a sales clerk and a bank teller.
I don't believe he knew of my birthmother's pregnancy.
My adoption was through the Georgia Department of Human Resources - Community Services Division of DeKalb County. I was placed with my "adoptive" family on March 18, 1976 and the adoption was finalized in November of '76.
Even any advice is welcome!

PLEASE NOTE: - I have already contacted GARR and received my Non-ID Info, but I can't afford the $300 for the in-depth search - so I have to go through other channels.

hi! i just thought i would drop you a note. our birthdates are very close. mine is feb 10,1976. i was born in Jonesboro but i don't know what hospital. my bmom was 14. she was originally from TN but came down to stay w/ relatives while i was born & adopted. she was either full or half Cherokee. i was also adopted thru the State of GA. i was placed w/ my a-parents on march 17,1976. my adoption was finalized sept 24,1976 in Gwinnett county. all i have is my amended birth certificate it say place of birth Gwinnett county. no hospital or anything. when i went to get married a year ago, the people at Gwinnett county recorders court thought it was a fake so i told them to look it up. i had also brought my paperwork from when i was adopted. i am waiting on my non-id info from GARR & then i guess i'll decide if i should do the $300 reunion search they offer. i hope you have good luck finding you b-parents!
