i posted to remind them to be respectful...and i'm going to bed....but i see no good coming from this thread. personally...i think the op needs to meet more adopted kids. lol. i don't have any friends who don't discipline their adopted kids....i think it is a little unfair to make it sounds like ALL adoptive parents fail to control their kids JUST bc they are adopted. bug. *brook steps off her soapbox* :)
Ya, I posted just that pretty much.
Funny how she's met 2 adopted kids and it translates into ALL.
Perhaps she should have been in my house tonight as Titus got his ds taken away because he told me in that snotty voice "No, I'm not done yet" when it was time for bed and I told him to turn it off. Oh wait...that's likely not discipline now is it? *snort*

No, discipline would have been back handing him for daring to speak back.
BTW, my 32 year old son tells me I should have beaten him when he was a child to straighten him out.... hmm
I really hope this thread doesn't go to the point of no return. So tired of the "I"M SOOOO OFFENDED" direction they all seem to take lately. Don't get me wrong, members should post when something offends them, but to beat it down down down? ugh.
