Hello Everyone. This is my first time here so I'm sorry if I do something wrong. Ok so my name is Jessica and I have almost been married two years this month. I have a one year old son and I do not know where my husband is. He left us about a year ago. Yes my husband is my son's father. Ok well I actually tried to date someone a while back and...I'm now pregnant. I am 8 months pregnant and I have chosen to give my baby up for adoption. I thought about it long and hard and its so difficult for me to raise my son on my own I live with my mom and have her help thank god. But I can't give this little miracle the life it deserves. I say it because I don't know if it is a boy or a girl. So life is hard and now I'm faced with some even harder things. Ok so the birth father of this baby is like avoiding me for some reason and I know that his rights will be terminated in court but I was wondering if anyone could help me with the Florida Laws regarding this. I know most states require that the birth father and the husband sign over rights but is it also for Florida? I would much rather my husband not know one because it has nothing to do with him and two because I dont know how that would reflect in a divorce. Someone...advice...please???:thanks:
