Hi everyone I have read the rules I think Im ok to post the adoption agency?
I contacted this agency after finding a little boy identical to my own sone, you really canҒt tell them apart. I love him already.
I was told that I cant adopt through this agency as Australian cant adopt children with Special needs. Can someone please send me information about Adopting children in orphanages please we feel desperate to rescue this child.
You can't go around your country's laws. While I think it is unfortunate that Australia does not allow special needs adoptions, your country has the right to make such laws. The best you will be able to do is to encourage people in another country to adopt the child.
If you are interested in international adoption of a child who meets your country's criteria, your best bet is to begin researching various countries' adoption programs, to identify those where you:
1. Meet the foreign countries' requirements with regard to your age, marital status, medical history, and so on.
2. Find children of the gender, age range, and health status you desire, who are available for adoption,
3. Are comfortable with the countries' requirements with regard to length of travel, wait times from dossier submission to referral, and so on.
4. Feel drawn to the culture, since you will have to raise the child to appreciate his/her birth heritage.
5. See other Australians adopting in an ethical manner.
Then find a reputable agency in your own country that can help you complete an adoption from your country of choice.
