Adopting from Colombia?

Hello-

I am new to the forum and I know this may be a little odd considering that I'm not adopting from Colombia but that I was adopted from Colombia, 24 years ago to be exact. I am actually just curious to hear from anyone who is currently adopting from Colombia. What your experience is thus far and what you have learned about the ins and outs of the adoption process nowadays in Colombia. I'm sure it's changed a lot since my parents adopted me.

Hi Cassie -

I adopted my son (who is an older adoptee) in 2006 and am in the process of adopting his younger brother right now. Hoping to travel in January 2010. What kind of questions do you have? In my experience, the Colombian adoption process is extremely professional and above board.
