Hi,
I'm the (Dutch) parent of an 8 year old boy with Asperger's syndrome.
Every day, we created a planner for him on a whiteboard, which was very time-consuming. Not only did we have to draw (poorly made) pictograms, but we had to figure out what we were going to do each day all over agian.
I was very surprised when I found out that there was nothing on the computer that we could use to make this reoccurring time-consuming task easier.
So, we decided to create online planner software, with help from several people. Because we want as many people as possible to benefit, we made the basic version free for private use. In only a few months time, we have got over 4300 users from the Netherlands and Belgium.
AutiPlan is very easy to use and you can create a daily planner with clocks and pictograms in mere seconds when you make use of the templates. There are over 3000 pictograms available. To make AutiPlan even more accessible, there is step-by-step documentation and several demo videos. (screencasts) Everything is available in English and Dutch.
So, please check it out and let us know what you think about it!
If you want to create planners for more than one person in your family, just drop us a line at support@autiplan.com. Then we can give you extra (also free) licenses.
