http://forums.adoption.com/guatemala-adoption/368536-challenge-peter-jack-give-back-fund-raiser.htmli deleted it for now. and i will pm the member. it sure sounds like she is asking people to send her money, and i have already told her she can not do stuff like that. if that is what she is doing, and i have already told her she can not, does she need a break?

Unless she is a 501/non profit charity, then no, she can't fundraise. Sounds like she's buying gifts for the children's youth services in her town? And just "names" it after her son Peter Jack? The link to the toysrus gift card is kind of funny b/c she doesn't say where to send the gift card. lol. When was she told she couldn't do this?

Re: Fund Raiser for Little Lambs Int'l if you are collecting money, or holding an event people pay for, even if the money eventually goes to the organization, you can NOT post it here. but good luck. I would really love for folks to learn about this fundraiser here on this forum, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed. On the post in facebook the event costs $25 and it states that. Thank you for your help Brook!!! Wish us luck!Judy
Re: Fund Raiser for Little Lambs Int'l only if you want to be banned. you can not post anything about asking for money, even if it is asking people to pm you. you just can't do it here. i'm sorry....i know you have good intentions, but sadly the rule was made bc some people didn't. Oh vey...really...some people....sigh....Okay, give her a break and in the ban line message tell her that "personal fundraising not allowed/last warning before permanent ban" (or whatever variation of this will fit on that line! LOL!)Before you do that, please copy the above pm's into her usernote so we can pull that up if necessary.
