My daughter Peyton was born January 13th 2009 and was put up for adoption without my consent. I was given the first names of the two men as well as some pictures that they had sent to the mother that show them as well as Peyton. I was able to use this info to find their Myspace and Facebook Profiles, last names, address and even some more photos of Peyton. I'm afraid of contacting them online and scaring them off. I decided to try to find an attorney to help me regain custody but can't afford one. I didn't know what else to do so I started a blog. Dear Peyton's dad, If they sent pictures to the mother I don't think that by contacting them will scare them off. I also think that it'll be how you approach them that'll also determine how they'll interact with you. Remember, They did nothing wrong. I'm dealing with a similiar issue that my x-wife had her new husband adopt my daughter without my consent, and their is no way I'll ever have a realationship with my daughter by going thru her mother. I'm actually reaching out to her adopted father since I already know what happens whenever her mother and I interact. Always keep in mind that as Peyton's father the you want to make sure her welbeing should always come before yours. You'll regret it if you do something stupid that scares them off, and believe me not knowing how your daughter is the worst feeling. Good luck.
