I need advice...I've been on the regular protocol for 9 weeks. Baby is due March 22nd. I would like a full, or close to full, supply for the baby. If you were me, when would you stop the protocol and begin pumping? My experience last time was that I did the accelerated protocol, began pumping, took about 2 weeks to even see drops, then had a baby born situation... which was wonderful, of course!... but lead to me using a lact-aid which I found annoying to say the least. Thanks!!!Natalie

I started pumoing in mid september after being on the bcp for 40 days. I am still only getting between 7 and 8 ounces a day. We are also matched and baby is due in March so I should have a fairly good supply by then.
I would say if you have 3 months to go still, start pumping maybe at the end of January? Like 6 weeks before baby is due? Then that gives you more time on the bcp which is likely what will make the difference in how fast you produce!
Good luck
