Resident of NY-need help/Adoption Alliance.

I've been searching for months to find a domestic agency that I like. Seems very few agencies outside of NY are willing to work with residents of NY. Apparently NY ICP is very difficult. I've gone thru the "authorized agency" list produced by NY state and only found one that I might be interested in. Does anyone know anything about Adoptional Alliance in TX? I'm also looking for recommendations for an agency that will work with residents of NY (either in NY or another state). It doesn't help that we are gender specific and prefer to not have an open adoption.

Hi! Also reside in NY - interested in info on agencies/lawyers in NY or out of state who will work with NYS resident. (Recommendations (or) who to avoid).

Would prefer state with shorter time period for irrevocable consent.

If you find any info out on Adoption Alliance can you PM me? I was given their name from another adoption agency in Long Island, NY who only does International Adoption. Good luck with your search.
