I'm ready to file form I800A but I need help in completing item 3 under Part 3 of the form that relates to writing about State statutes and regulations. I'm in VA. Can someone who has filed this form give me some guidance? Thanks much!

I had trouble finding that answer too. I ended up contacting the USCIS worker in my state who is specifically works with adoptions. Once I emailed her I had the answer with in a couple of days. So, you might try that route. I then let my homestudy person know for in the future. Good luck

Type USCIS and the name of your state in a search engine. It should direct you to the place on the USCIS site that has local office information. It should let you choose the office you want. I checked for VA and there was a Washington and Norfork office. So, you will want to choose the office that you need. The scroll down and you will see a heading that is for adoption. The email address is in that section. Hope this helps
