We sent in our application to adopt from Korea. I'm so nervous! I hope it goes more smoothly than our first adoption.
The agency we're using lets us choose gender if we have only the opposite gender (which we do). We're hoping for a little girl w/ minor/correctable SN.
Anyone else just starting out?
February is over! So thankful! Yay March! Hopeful for Monday - things are sounding good. Kizz - what does your agency have to say? Lori - any news? Our agency confirmed EPs being submitted next week (not sure if she specifically said Monday or next week b/c it was my friend who talked to her).
So ready to get this ball moving!!! :) Hope you all have a great weekend! It's about time to celebrate some good news finally!!
A few of us gave up chocolate until EPs are submitted - this was back in January when we thought it would be a matter of days - 2 months later I can almost taste the chocolate! :)

I'm ready, but I'm moving ahead with cautious optimism. I won't believe it until I see it.
Our agency is saying that EPs will start this week. They haven't been able to tell us who will be going with the first batches, or how long things will take. From what I'm reading elsewhere though it sounds like it might all move pretty quickly.
Kizz and Lori - any word? I heard that the agency that LJR went through had 14 EPs! :) All that were waiting from May! :) Hoping to hear some good news here! I'm actually optimistic for 2nd batch after hearing that. I haven't heard anything about the agency you're going through Kizz (it's hard not to use names on here...). I hope you heard great news!!!
No word from us yet. Our agency hasn't received information on which applications were submitted. That's as of an hour ago.
Based on some of the postings on the other board I'm assuming that we're in the first batch of EPs.
We were told yesterday that they would be staggering the travel because they can't handle everybody in the first batch at once. So even if we're in the first batch, I don't know where that puts us for the travel timeline.
Hopefully we get some good news soon.

I guess that makes sense, but I suppose I should temper my excitement for how quickly we'll be traveling. I assume you're in the first batch. Praying things move quickly.
Kizzz - I just heard that Spence found out which EPs were submitted - please tell me you are one of them?!?! :cheer:
Barker actually found out too - there were two from our agency which surprised me. That leaves me leading the wait again...but hopefully not for long. Come on approvals and then second batch submissions!!!
Lori - any ideas on length of time for you? Thinking of you, this wait is torturous! :hissy: <-- I hate to admit that I've done this more than I should, and my wait for travel is relatively easy (or course I think I did that more waiting for referral...but either way waiting stinks)! Hugs!
I am on the that list! I'm hoping to be in Seoul this time next month.
I really hope your next.

Can younplease pm me with your recomendations, and criticisms please? We want to make and educated plan.
Thanks,
and im pulling for those of you waiting for your trips to come soon.
We've been home a week and a half now. Things are going very well. Our son is adjusting quicker than I expected and we feel like our family is finally complete.
It has been a long, long journey, and it isn't over yet, but I feel like a weight has been lifted.
