I'm working my way through a book at the moment called Adoption Healing: A Path to Recovery for Mothers Who Lost Children to Adoption by Joe Soll and Karen Wilson Buterbaugh. What an amazing book...I don't know how I went so long on my journey without knowing about this book.
It's a LOT of hard work, though, and painful at times. But the main author, a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in adoption issues, holds a nightly chat and helps us focus on our feelings.
Wow is all I can say. I've told my story countless times in public forums, but this is the first time I've actually been able to identify my feelings surrounding the loss of my son, as well as our reunion, and really feel the emotions instead of just telling the story. It's been a huge learning experience for me...and it just feels right.
I highly recommend this book if you want to heal from the pain and grief and anger. :loveyou:

Slowmo, I ordered my copy from Amazon. They sell it for around $13. Just be sure you get the one for mothers; there is another one with a similar name by the same author that is a workbook for adoptees.
You can also order it from Joe Soll's website, but I don't think I can put the link to it on here. The main site's name is Adoption Crossroads, and you can easily find it thru Google.
