So did anyone else receive a 1099 from the Auditor of State?
We did, but the amount shown on it is only a fourth of what we actually were paid.
Wondering what is up with that??? And why we're getting a 1099 at all? I thought they said per diems were not taxable income?
Just talked to Tim Berry's assistant a few minutes ago.
Apparently these 1099's were sent in error. We'll be receiving new 1099's, but it'll reflect that the money paid to us is not taxable income.

Yep, I called earlier this afternoon and I could have swore that I posted about it here. Ours was $700 more than we actually made.
Well that's good! I received mine today and it was definitely odd looking.. I didn't take the time to figure out the amount vs what we actually got yet but still! Soo , if we don't have to claim it as taxable income then we shouldn't have to wait for the new form in order to file our taxes right??
Also- in case anyone else didn't get it.. I received a letter from the state saying that those who were shorted in Jan & Feb for adoption subsidy - the old rate will be back in effect on the March payment & they will reimburse the shortage sometime in late Feb/early March.
