My radar went up on her and I checked the ip which is unfortunately common with several members. Including our very own Rainey. Hmm...:p
Cetalley also popped up on the ip match but it's not her posting style at all.
I don't know. I just am not sure I buy her story.
I don't buy it either - the IP is for DirecTV's Sat Internet Service (which is what Rainey has) - I find most of what she says, total BS.
We'll just need to watch.

I agree, I was becoming suspicious myself....in these situations I generally would rather err on the side of believing and if I look a fool, so be it - in the off chance it's true and someone needs help.
But yeah, my ears (and eyes?) had definitely perked....
Yeah, um satalite is like 100.00 a month, and you only get it if you have no choice and live way out in the country. Though I am wondering if this is an incest situation from the way she describes the father.
I hadn't thought of incest - that would make me think he'd want an abortion? My thought was (if there is ANY truth in her story at all) is that she's having an affair with a much older married man. But that too would make me think he'd push for abortion.
I think it's a troll though with no truth. If I'm dead honest about my cynical side.;)
Actually 'Raine, my daughter had directTV for a while and she lived in a city... Verizon offered a package deal of phone/tv/internet. She didn't keep it very long, btw.
Crick, you are so cynical. I'm finding it hard to believe that a doctor is being so '50s about the adoption idea. It's possible, I suppose.... I also suppose she's not the only oone who wants an abortion but can't face adoption although I must admit that's just me.

I think she did say in her first post that he wanted her to have an abortion. There is just something off going on. The way she keeps going on and on about his grown kids and grand children can't find out about the baby makes me wonder. (if any of it's true of course) Because most people aren't all that concerned about grown children. The married man thing seems plausible too.
Kathy - that's what they pay me for, my cynicism! You didn't think it was my awesome good looks did you? LOL!
I totally agree with the whole OB 50's approach too.
Rainey - I suppose if you are a 20 year old "dating" a 60 year old who has grown children who will fight tooth an nail at another chunk of their inheritance leaving...
Or....(who is next in the soap opera digest writing?) LOL!
Well, for a really good soap opera story line he needs to have driven off a cliff and was presumed dead, but has now returned 3 years later. ;)
I agree with TGM that I would rather err on the side of believing, and I am trying hard not to be suspicious, but after 3 (or is it 4) pages of people telling her to ditch the doctor and her giving lame reasons not to it makes you wonder a little.
