Adoption & Disability

Hello. I am an undergraduate student at the University Of Leeds and I am currently working on my final research piece for my degree in regards to the adoption of disabled children. I have always found this topic to be of great interest and I wish to pursue my profound interest surrounding disability in my future career. The main focus of my research is to explore the experiences surrounding the adoption of a disabled child, I am incredibly interested in the experiences of those who have/are seeking to adopt a disabled child, for example family motivations behind decisions, any challenges families have/are/may face and what kind of reactions they have received from other people. Therefore i am currently looking for a selection of parents who have adopted or are looking to adopt disabled children to take part in a short online survey. I understand confidentiality is a incredibly important aspect, I require no personal information about anyone and all repsonses will be kept confidential. Any information or knowledge you are able to provide me with will be extremely appreciated and valued, I believe this would be of great use in producing a substantial piece of work for my undergraduate degree.
