Why they wont unseal records

I firmly believe, (especially after hearing of the one case where parents and child were reunited, only to find out they were not related) that the reason the States wont let adoptees know anything, is because they dont want to to be exposed of any wrong doings. I am talking about falsifying Birth dates, places of Birth, citys, states, ect. Or just screwing up by poor record keeping. Seems like all they wanted to do was take the baby, make a buck, and give the baby to a family, with no concern for the future. My own case worker said they used to bring babies across state lines in NY. If a baby was brought in to one state after being born in another, and yet the Birth Certificate was falsified to any extent, why would the State ever want anyone to know of the wrong doing? No one ever will if they keep the records sealed, and thats what they want. In time as the adoptees and their parents all die off, it will no longer be an issue. Thats what I believe they are waiting for. Everything has been swept under the rug and they wont lift it. Treating adoptees and Birth Parents like guinea pigs and people who have no rights is unacceptable. Call your congressmen and let them know, dont stop fighting for your rights, and the truth. We are all entitled to the truth. Its mind blowing that they dont think we are entitled to that same truth and get away with it.
