I looked around on this site a few years ago while we were in the "waiting" process and have peeked very briefly since then (our girls are now 2 and 3)....so was very excited to see this new forum category....then not-so-excited when I saw so few posts and some comments made.
Does anyone check this forum?

This forum does tend to be pretty inactive, but we do have quite a few 'non-traditional' families that are regulars on the General Adoptive Parent Support forum. So definetly check out that board too if you dont' get many responses here. :)

my family qualifies as non-traditional. not sure what the forum means as non-traditional, tho :)
We have GLBT members, cross racial families, single parents, pagan families..
heck! even adoption by nature could be seen as non-traditional

I know I don't check this forum too often because we are very much in the pre-adoption stage, but I do like when users post experiences or resources that will be helpful when we do get there.
