In NY I took medically fragil children. I was wondering if all the states have the same level for all the special needs. Is there a web site that list exactly what each level is for?
TIA, Peggy
We didn't have levels of care exactly, in Florida, where we adopted our son. But, he has/had a LOT going on besides just FTT. All special needs are not considered "equal" in my experience. My daughter is special needs because she has an easy to deal with skin condition and allergies. My son is/was special needs because he is or was tube fed, severely dev. delayed, brain injured, had GERD, needed numerous eye surgeries, has SPD and is autistic. There is no comparison regarding the level of care they each require due to their special needs.
