Eeek! I am so nervous. I sent off our photo books to the agency today. I also received an email from our social worker. She is going to schedule our home study next week!! We are so excited yet scared. :thankyou:
We spent all week moving our daughter into a new bed and new room. We figured we should have her used to her new room prior to the baby arriving. Luckily she is really adaptable.
Any tips for the home study?
Congrats on starting the process! As a previous poster stated, just be yourself during the homestudy. You'll be fine.

So baby Selena has fabulous longish (for a 9 month baby) hair and it is really shiny and was doing great.
Today while I was at work hubby thought it was difficult to comb so he cut a few pieces off the top that he thought were too hard to get through. (They weren't!) So now she looks like she has shorter hair and it's uneven and probably ruined!!! What can I do? Should I try to cut more or just leave it alone? How long till this grows back? I want it back the way it was!!! I am going to kill him!
Our homestudy was not as scary like others said. We talked about our family, our childhood, what we would do as a family once the baby joined our family, etc. I really stressed about making the house spotless, but I didn't need to. She was there for about 15 minutes most of which was to sign the last of the paperwork and then the hard part began....Waiting! :) I was much better at the "Doing" stage(constantly running around town with paperwork in tow) than I was the "Waiting" stage!
