I don't trust this lady.[URL="http://forums.adoption.com/haiti-adoption/378942-private-haiti-adoption.html"]http://forums.adoption.com/haiti-adoption/378942-private-haiti-adoption.html[/URL] Her first post pretty clearly says that the child is living with both parents. Then when she finds out it won't be legal for her to adopt him, she back peddels to say he is not living with both and then that he is in the orphanage. Maybe she did mis speak in her first post, but something just rings wrong for me. If I am remembering correctly new adoptions are not happening in Haiti yet, they are only doing ones of kids who were documented orphans before the earthquake and with parents who had paperwork before the Earthquake, and since this lady had no idea how to start an adoption I am pretty sure she doesn't have a homestudy or anything. Anyway, I think we should watch it, because I think she may be looking at illegal ways to adopt.

Ah Ok I looked it up and they can but only kids who were documented orphans before the earthquake or relinquished since, so it sounds like she can get away with it, but still, I don't trust that she is not doing something unethical with the boy.
