How long are you waiting for sibilings?

is anyone currently waiting for sibilings?

Hi there, My wife and I are waiting on Siblings. In fact, we are about to hit the 1 year mark. The unfortunate thing is that I think we both thought the wait would be a little less. I had read prior to putting in our paperwork about a year ago that it was sometimes faster for Siblings in Poland that an individual child. How about you?

We are just at the beginning of the process. I was also hoping that waiting time for sibilings from Poland will be shorther than for one child :-( Did you guys have any age and sex preferences?

We had requested that they both be under the age of 6. As for Gender we had no preference. It was interesting, because there were two couples in front of us that seem to get referrals for siblings within a couple months of each other. The last referral from our agency for a sibling group that we are aware of, and that falls into the age category above, was in December. So there has been a larger gap between referrals than what is typical, it seems. I think it is just like people say on the boards, there is no set amount. There are just times when there are more children available than others it seems. If your interested in which agency we are using, feel free to PM me. J
