Hi--A friend and I are starting the process to become foster parents. She is retiring soon and will be 65. Is that too old? She's very healthy and works a physically demanding job still. She has plenty of space in the home and plenty of personal income. But just wants to give back and do something meaningful. I just wonder if her age will factor into it at all? Thanks for any advice for both of us. I'm 49 and no spring chicken either! But plenty capable of taking care of a child or two in need.
