Not sure if you already knew about this process or not.
You were born in 1996, is that correct? If that is the case, you are not entitled to any of your adoption records until you turn 21 in the state of IL.

Was you adoption an open one, is that how you know the names of your parents? Are your adoptive parents aware you are searching? Sorry, but bein under age I need to know these things. ♥

Well, I did find one woman with that name - just spelled McManimon - with and "i" not an "a". Do you know how old she would have been when you were born?
