DD already has her eye on medical school. I just need to make sure she stays on track. DS hasn't put much thought to what he wants to do but he's only 5 so he has time.
The last few weeks I've been trying to come up with a plan to make sure the kids are well rounded but not overloaded. I'm probably going to run a few things by those of you who have older kids and been through some of this already. My mother was very traditional in terms of what boys and girls should do and I'm planning on doing a mix of traditional and nontraditional.
I am hoping that DD will want to go into medicine too. :D we shall see, what ever unfolds we will support. Even if one of my kids is not sure of their major, I do believe in an advanced high school diploma to be competitive, and prepared for college.. no less. My younger son is into science, and experimenting right now. Lots of mixing, setting up and watching the results. My poor kitchen.. :arrow:Thanks Manni! I read the link you provided. It is this program mainly need based? I will definitely pass that info on to my sister.
