Hi all,
Decided to move forward with an international adoption. Guess I'm finally over my years of infertility and would like to look upon Christmas as a joyous event like I use to ...
Anyway, Bulgaria it is .. ! I am filling out the 7 page application now .. lots of info to collect, but I think this is going to be an exciting adventure.

Nice to meet you as well! Still working on the 7 page application, gathering information. Should have it done this week. I would love to think that this time next year .. I could have kids for Christmas (probably a bit hopeful eh?) :-)

Your answer suggests that you might be aware that waits are a lot longer than 12 months from initial application. So you might want to find out the time lines of people with similar adoption criteria in mind. According to this forum people hoping to adopt non SN and young kids are generally facing long waits that are difficult to predict.

Wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me which agency you chose and why. I'm just begining my search and Bulgaria is still in the running for me (along with Peru, China, India, and Taiwan).
