On the Kindle/Nook thread it came up about starting a thread to trade ebooks. I didn't see any issue with that but wanted to double check.

I don't have a kindle, but from what I understand you are able to trade e-books and they expire after a certain amount of time automatically.

From that thread and my own research it seems that at this time the Kindle doesn't allow loaning but the ability to do that is supposed to be available early next year while with the Nook you can do it now.
I was actually going to get my Mom and myself both a Nook for Christmas but my stepfather already got her a Kindle and gave it to her early.
I am thinking it isn't an issue but I have been known to be wrong once or twice. ;)

don't let that secret out! Of course it is ok to have been wrong once or twice as long as that was a long time ago and it will never happen again.:D
