Intro and Info

Hi everyone. My wife and I are wanting to adopt a child from Colombia. I already visit Bogota and the surrounding area several times a year. I have been working with private orphanages and families in need. It did not take long for the people of Colombia to have a special place in my heart, especially the ninos.

We have two biological sons ages 6 and 2, and are looking to adopt a little girl. We would like to keep the ages in order and are wanting a little girl up to age 4.

We are overwhelmed by the amount of information we must take in. We are looking for recommendations on agencies in the southest U.S. We are impressed with Children's Hope and Bethany and would really like feedback on those two agencies. We are open to any other recommendations as well. Price/value are a big deal to us because we will be doing this without debt and through faith.

Very touching pictures. Thank you for sharing them!

We partnered with two different agencies for this journey, one for the home study (local), and the other that has a program in Colombia (located in another state). We have been working together since 2008 and it has been a good experience (and their location hasn't been an inconvenience for us).

I really enjoyed your pictures.

Our agency is based in Texas but they have regional offices all over. We are in California. We never had a problem using an agency that is out of state as our social worker is local. I will PM you the name of our agency. I think they are great!
