I would say it needs to go, even if it's on the profile. I think it opens the door to everyone in their shoes using the site to match.

We allow blog links & profile links on the homepage link area of the profile & that's it. The reason that is okay is because it takes you off site & is not actively profiling on our site. This is actively profiling on A.com which we don't allow. This is enough for me to ban. It's of course clear she wants to adopt, but hadn't crossed the line. This does.
