I'm not part of the LDOAR club: Long Distance Open Adoption Relationship :flowergift:
I know that I'm joining a large group of seasoned veterans, so I thought we could all share our experiences and celebrate some of the good things that have come from being in LDOAR's. :)
Now, go forth and share!!!
Note to self: Don't post a thread towards the end of the night :) At least I HOPE that's why no positive stories got shared!
Anyone around today to share their successes?

Well, DD's bmom lives about 8 hours drive away. We talk several times a week on the phone. If she comes up this summer we will visit then. Otherwise, whenever she does come up we will see each other or if we drive down we will visit then.
Did you mean to type "now" instead of "not"?
(Nothing helpful to share, I'm afraid, on the LDOAR club, but I grew up in a different continent to my grandparents, and saw them every summer, and my brothers kids are growing up in a different country to us/my parents, and we see them a lot too, and they love seeing us).
Good things? How about some shining faces in the east welcoming you and keeping you sane and entertained before and after visits? Like this:
