Hi. My name is Nicole and I was adopted in an in-family adoption that I didn't find out about until this past December (2010). I was wondering if someone could help me in my search, as it is becoming very difficult for me.
My birth mother's name is Maria Bertucci and she had me on July 27, 1988. She just told me that my father's name is Scott Baker and that he grew up near the Ford City area of Chicago, and last that she had heard he had moved to Arizona.
He also tried contacting our family in about 2004, but my family lied and said they had given me up for adoption and did not know my whereabouts. There reasoning was that I did not yet know that I was adopted and also there was a fear of me being taken away.
Please someone help me with this! I want desperately to know, I just feel a void within!!! :wings:
