My sister has struggled with many health issues for years thyroid problems, "adhd", depression, etc. She had what appeared to be a stroke last week and finally found an amazing nuero that diagnosed her with Hashimoto's Encephalopathy,,a rare neuroendocrine disorder related to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
It is RARELY diagnosed and quite treatable. I wish we would have known years ago. It effects children too. Read the symptoms and get educated... many children are misdiagnosed!
