We have been matched and are eagerly waiting the birth. My question is...is it appropriate to give the birth mom a gift at the hospital? We gave her a small gift when we first met her...I'm really not sure whether we should do anything at the hospital or not. I don't want to make a difficult time any worse...any advice is greatly appreciated!

We gave our girls' birthmom a gift at our first meeting two weeks before the babies were born, then another gift at the hospital. We also gave her older daughter a stuffed animal at the first meeting.

In my opinion, I think there's nothing wrong with giving a gift at the hospital, unless of course the hospital does not allow it. In my case, I have already done that a couple of times and nothing bad happened anyway.
