Research for book - looking for adults who remember being adopted.

I am writing about book about the life of my Grandmother. She was given up by her natural family around the age of six and spent a short amount of time in an orphanage before both she and her brother were adopted by a loving family. I'm conducting research on what is experienced by a child who is adopted at an age when they understand what is happening. I am approaching adult adoptees looking for their insightful recollections of their adoption and childhoods. No personal/identifying details need to be included. Even though my Grandmother was adopted in the early 1900's, human nature and feelings do not change much throughout even a century. I would be very grateful to anyone who would be willing to help me out with this research so that the finished product is insightful, heartfelt and believable. Thank you all very much!
