Just wondering if anyone else is going to the matching event in Lancaster next week? Or has anyone gone to one before? There are going to be older youth there who are up for adoption. Not sure how I feel about that. (We've been to a matching event before but there were never any children there, just caseworkers) They're suppose to give speeches on themselves---how embareassing is that?! We're looking forward to it but at the same time we're not sure what to expect. :arrow:

We are going to the swan conference next week. I know there are alot of events but I wasn't aware of a matching one. When is it? Is it at the conference?

Wednesday July 20 from 9am to noon at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center. Its a matching brunch. There will be some older youth attending and "these youths will present themselves during the Youth Presenatations in the matching room." If you go the SWAN website and look under FORMS there is a brochure with all the information.
We're only going to the matching event since it will be quite the drive for us and my husband has his intership the next day.:arrow:
