Hello Everyone,
I was hoping that someone can provide me with some insight or hopefully point me in the right direction.
My dad works with a sweet 21 year old Korean girl. She recently opened up to my dad and told him about some of her problems. She was adopted from Korea when she was 7 years old and her the agency was located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She has been through an awful lot. Her adoptive parents threw her out of the house when she was 17 years old and she has been living here and there since then. She recently moved to North Carolina with a family that took her in. She does not have any documents with the exception of her social security number and DOB. She needs her documents in order to get an identification card.
I was hoping that someone might know who we should contact to help her out. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
She should be able to go to vital records in the state that she was adopted in and get her birth certificate. Does she have a drivers' license for ID? She could contact Dillon International who is the only agency I know of in Tulsa OK and they might be able to help her.
