Little E is n ow 8 months old (where has the time gone!) She has eczema so I am not sure if this relates or not...
I have noticed several spots on her legs that are a different color then her all over skin tone. It's like white leopard spots amongst brown. There is now rhyme or reason to the patches and they also occur where there is no eczema issues.
Will they darken in time? I've read that biracial children can have like a line where their body color darkens or lightens slightly. These are randomly placed around her arms and legs though.
Has anyone seen this before?
What line is that? the mid-line?
Sounds like hypo pigmentation, if it was due to the eczema, or other rashes that should normalize over time. If it's something like vitiligo you will know in time. Can always check with the pediatrician or a dermatologist who has Black or minority patients.

Of course now that I search the links I can't find what I saw. It sounded very strange to me. They were saying that it appeared like there was a certain point where they could see the change in skin tone. Again, I thought that sounded odd.
Now I am looking up vitiligo and now will probably go nuts thinking about that:) Maybe if by a year we have not seen a change I will seek out dermatologist
