Second-trimester matches

We've just started working with adoption professionals which do matches before the third trimester. Previously, we worked only with those who waited at least until the seventh month. We are apprehensive, but we are trying to figure if we should be open to second-trimester matches. How much greater is the risk of failure? (Any statistics would much appreciated.) Should we view doing second-trimester matches as a red flag for the agency, etc.? Any insights would be welcome.
