I spend lots of time overseas in Europe for work purposes and this is why I wasn't going the foster to adopt route. And its a back and forth thing with no known time frames. I have no problems with taking the new child with me if that gets to happen and no problems with arranging childcare with me.
My problem is that I was informed for Texas adoptions to go through I would have to find someone to be a nanny or bring Granny here to watch child for when I was overseas for about six months for an adoption to go through for the visits. I am willing to do this and fly back as much as possible on weekends and do skype visits.
I was curious does this rule apply for international adoptions where you already get the Visa where they are already an American citizen once you do the adoption abroad. Does anyone know.
