I don't think so. Usually there are exactly the same processes to go through whatever country you're in before you get a child. The only differences will be how immigration is processed afterwards. The wait to be matched with a child would be the same, and remember the UK homestudy and registration with the Government will take over a year, maybe up to two years depending on where you areI think you are still exploring all your options, but have you considered a domestic adoption from the UK itself at all? I'm just guessing that since you're looking at a lot of international countries, you don't have a strong pull towards any country in particular? I have been through the UK process in full twice and adopted three times, so I give you completely honest advice which is often lacking when you ask questions

I'm just keeping my options open at the moment :) I would love to adopt a mix raced child or a disabled child from the UK. I know I will adopt domestically at some point. Whether it is international first or domestic first i'm not sure, just researching at the moment. I just wish the home study so length wasn't so long :(
